Dr. Milon Miah works as a Research Fellow in the School of Chemistry at the University of Birmingham, within the Prof. Peter Slater Group. 

He graduated from Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur, India and completed his Ph.D. from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, India. During his Ph.D. study, the main research topic was the charge transport and electrochemical properties of graphene-based energy storage materials.  In 2021, he joined the Centre for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research at the University of Birmingham as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Research Fellow, started his research in low temperature fuel cells (PEMFC, DMFC). His research interest lies in enhancing performance of energy storage devices such as lithium ion batteries, supercapacitors and advanced batteries with the help of multifunctional nanoscale materials.
